Know Your Worth…

May 13, 2016/LinkedIn

It is Friday…woohoo (BIG SMILE). We have endured and made it through another week. Some of us have experienced sickness, some loss, others have endured hurt/pain/disappointments but thankfully we’ve had a great deal of positive things to be grateful for overall. Just take a moment to think!

I’ve been up at 3:00am because my heart was full and my mind was processing (reflecting). I was awaken and inspired to share a word…

Despite the inconstant weather changes the season of Spring is here. The month of May is actually the last month in this the season. Spring, symbolizes a time of rebirth and renewal. I want to encourage you to continue focusing on the spirit of renewing your mind & spirit as we continue to grow wholistically in this year of 2016. Regardless, this season and year, is still a time of love, growth and wealth. When I speak of wholistic growth & wealth – III John 1:2 says, “I pray that in every way that you may prosper and enjoy good health, as your soul also prospers.

It’s time to stop! We cannot continue to maneuver through life settling. Although we are an imperfect people we are created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27) which makes us great. If we don’t realize what lies within us, it often makes it hard for others too. I want to encourage you to stop settling for anything less than the best. This applies to your entire life! Operate within the world (without self-righteousness) but with a spirit of expectancy to receive & embrace nothing than the finest, first from yourself and then from others. Psalm 51:10 says, “Create in me a clean heart and put a new and right spirit within in me.” This is gives us the permission to have a good attitude (not arrogance) for living.

Living doesn’t mean merely existing. So often we allow others to move throughout the various spaces within our life accepting whatever people offer us when God has given us the power of “choice”. The most troubling part is we continue to “allow what is within us” ~ the right spirit and intent ~ to be abused, misused and or taken for granted. Say to yourself: “NO LONGER!” Today we will not accept “other people’s” mess, insecurities, issues, negativity and brokenness to infiltrate our lives. We have our own stuff to deal with vs. dealing with theirs AND ours. We will no longer accept being treated just any way. We will no longer allow people to speak to us any way. We will no longer allow people to say untruths pertaining to us especially when they haven’t taken the time to get to know the deeper/inner parts of who we truly are. However, be realistic, we have absolutely NO control over anyone else nor should we try to control others beyond “self”.

But this does mean, that we must purge what isn’t healthy. Just as we are very mindful about what we eat/put into our mouths which then enters into our bodies; let’s be equally mindful about what we allow to touch our core (our spirit/hearts/minds). As easy as it is for people to see the negative, they can choose to see the positive. Begin to purge! Purge meaning eliminate those who don’t care about YOU nor see your value. They say what they want, when they want and treat you how they want. Get rid of unhealthy relationships (i.e. personal relationships – not speaking divorce for anyone rather look around you and evaluate friendships, (platonic/love) relationships, individuals on your job, in your network/circle, etc.). Remove yourself from situations that don’t empower you, build you, cause you to stretch & grow to become better. Do YOU know your self-worth and value?

Stop waiting on God to change what He has given YOU the power & equipped you to do. Operate in “Excellence Without (no) Excuse”!!! Whatever, you need indeed lies within YOU because you ARE filled with greatness. People will either acknowledge it while celebrating with you or continue to do what you allow! Give yourself permission to DO better because you KNOW better.

Make it a wonderful weekend on #purpose!

Much Love, @Rev_KSad (Lady Keron)
