“All things work together for the good…” (Romans 8:28)
It’s amazing what can and will happen when we surrender! Phenomenal things happen when we surrender certain behaviors. Unbelievable things unfold when we surrender specific thoughts. Wow! Supernatural things manifest when we surrender the words that we speak/say.
Some may say, “Really, What happens?”…
When we relinquish the control that we are tempted to have in & over situations, people and things, we are saying that it’s not about us. We are acknowledging something GEATER!
Things indeed work together for our good! It isn’t necessarily about when nor how we deem that it should happen. Rather, trusting that there is a mind-blowing outcome on the other side of whatever season we’re in “for THIS moment”. I promise you that it is NOT going to remain the same!
How we think influences what we do which in turn impacts how we behave or react triggering what we say. Our minds are extremely powerful which is why there is validity to the ole adage “The mind is a devil’s playground” which is actually based on Philippians 4:8. Hence, this is why “mindfulness” is so critical to how we move & function in the world. For example, the power of a particular thought or mindset can influence our action that may lead to feeling hopelessness, depression or suicide.
When we stand in the middle of a dark room, in the midst of thick smoke or fog, our vision is always impaired. A lot of times we cannot see our way or make sense of our surroundings. However, I petition you to close your eyes (pray, meditate, be still or just have faith/trust) and allow things to work themselves out.
You say, “But I have to do my part. Or God helps those who helps themselves.” Yes, we should do our part but when we’ve done our part (using wisdom) and nothing is changing for the good…just STOP & allow things to work for your good & His glory! He doesn’t need our additional help. He hasn’t forgotten about you nor forsaken you. He’s just waiting on you to get out of your way (and out of His’).
Remember no matter what, always trust Him especially in times when you feel as though He can’t be traced because He IS there working it ALL out.
Peace & Blessings!
